As I didn’t get shortlisted in the EW Demo Contest (#sadface), here is ‘Eidolon’ for your enjoyment.
I have to say, thanks to all who voted for me – I really appreciate the effort you guys have made to help me out. It makes me feel real special, and I’m glad I’m writing for such a nice bunch of peeps!
I really enjoyed writing this piece, so it isn’t a huge loss. It was the first time I had ever restricted myself to a small selection of instruments (only solo cello and solo harp), and I’m really happy with how Eidolon turned out.
Enjoy – and if you want to download the MP3, head over here: https://www.scottbuckley.com.au/library/eidolon/. As usual – released under CC BY 4.0, so you can use it for whatever you like, as long as you give me a credit somewhere ;).
Cheers!
Cheers Ash! Kew Gardens always looks magical – I really want to get there one day… particularly now I’m also a soil & plant scientist 😀
Scott, thank you for this wonderful track – I have used it to accompany a YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQh174rh_zI) and have credited you accordingly.
Happy New Year from London!
