Oh the joy! My Baldur’s Gate remix was recently featured on OcRemix.org, and with a lovely review from the site founder and fellow remixer djpretzel. Here’s a snippet: Really strong, memorable mix here, displaying a firm grasp on cinematic instrumentation, arrangement, and production … at seven minutes and change, this ReMix is here to STAY; it’s not just a skirmish or a battle, it’s the whole ballgame – the stakes couldn’t be higher, everything’s on the table, and listeners are in for an action-packed ride on a legendary scale. Check this stylish dirt bike montage by Venue Monsters – made even more cool by the use of a Quadcopter GoPro, and the awesome use of my original soundtrack from ‘Your Number’s Up’.
Hey! I’ve just added a new track to the library – ‘Supernova’ – an epic pop-tronica track with some mean synths, smashed drums and electric guitar. It’s something a bit different from me, but I had a great time with this one. Enjoy! Go download it here, now! Do it! -s
Metallic, chunky machines freak me out. Who knows why – some traumatic childhood experience maybe – but they do. So when I met Mr Autoclave this week, I kinda had a moment.
I added a new track to the library – ‘Drift’ – a sort of uplifting pop tune that takes off towards the middle. http://www.scottbuckley.com.au/library/drift/ Go download it now! -s
Folklore Studio have created an amazing, vibrant short animation that made the finals of the Yoplait Seasons ‘Spring’ video competition. The animation features some of my original soundtrack from ‘Scrap’, a machinima project I worked on with Folklore Studio many years ago – which also went on to place in an Unreal Tournament animation competition. These guys have some serious talent – so be sure to check them out (http://www.folklorestudio.com/). Watch the short animation here: http://genero.tv/watch-video/35367/
