The music (mp3 downloads) found on scottbuckley.com.au is made available under the Creative Commons ‘Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Unported’ License (unless stated otherwise).

This means that you are free to adapt & use my music in your project, so long as:

  • Your project is non-commercial* (commercial projects must contact Scott for licensing)
  • I am is credited as:

  • I am is notified of music use in your project (so I can promote your project!)

Freely downloadable music is offered with the idea of giving independent filmmakers, game developers and media artists a way to get some music for their production without infringing copyright or paying licensing fees for non-commercial projects.

*NOTE: I have also extended the term ‘non-commercial’ to include film festivals and competitions, even if there is a prize for winning (although you might want to consider a ‘donation’ if you do!). I know plenty of filmmakers need legitimately sourced music with clearance for entry into film festivals, so I hope this can remove one less headache from the equation.
