Today I proudly announce affordable and efficient commercial licensing of my music for those of you working on commercial projects – via rightclearing.com.
RightClearing.com is an online music licensing platform offering fast music licensing options for media professionals. It’s pretty new, but I love the flexible pricing structures (dictated by the composer – me!) which allow me to offer an affordable commercial licensing option for indie and professional media artists alike.
Best of all, when you license directly with me through RightClearing.com, I get 90% of the final license fee (as opposed to 50%, or even 30%) – which goes directly to supporting the composition of new Creative Commons tracks for indie artists the world over to use freely (for non-commercial) and affordably (for commercial).
How do I license a track?
1. First, browse through available tracks here. Look for the following button to start licensing a track:
2. Enter your project details, including name, type of usage, budget – as well as your contact details. According to your type of usage, the pricing will be quoted for you.
3. Checkout and pay via PayPal, and download your track to start using in your project. A completed contract outlining the license will be emailed to you.
I am still in the process of making every track in the library available for license, but the majority are ready to go! And remember, if your project is non-commercial in nature (isn’t being sold or distributed via commercial means, or isn’t advertising a commercial project/product), then my music is free for you to use. Check out the Creative Commons license for more info.
If you have any questions or bug reports regarding licensing through RightClearing.com, please feel free to contact me.
